Employee-Owned companies are a great way to balance the management and labour dynamic.

So much economic potential is lost when there are labour strife in companies.

The other aspect is the loss of the extra mile that employees feel they owe a company that they have a stake in the interest of a successful company .

I know the feeling that in many companies , no matter how hard you work, no rewards will be accuring to you. Someone else will get the credit or monetary reward.

What a great way to keep companies Canadian and maintain Canadian Sovereignty. There must be downsides complexities and considerations such as future payments versus a lump sum buy out but the positives are important for employees, owners and communities.
