Re Groceries, I received an official-looking email informing me that applications are now open to benefit from the $500 million settlement in the Loblaws/Weston Bread case. I've reported it as spam to <spam@fightspam.gc.ca> since it was essentially of anonymous origin. Counting on you to let me know of any news about this case!
In regards to Tony, NICE states the problem pretty clearly: this clearance issue is completely random and haphazard. Sometimes Cineplex enforces it, sometimes they don't. That's actually worse than having a defined system, which the indies could plan around and work with, while a randomized one means they're vulnerable to screwing their customers at any point in time.
As far as bread price fixing goes, the settlement payments went out in May. I imagine anyone who hasn't received one yet probably isn't going to, and it's certainly far too late to register for one. That said, the case is ongoing against the other chains so there could be more coming down the road. As you say, we'll be all over it in these parts. ; )
