I’m one of those ex-Shaw customers who has a sweetheart deal with Roger’s. $56 total for 2 lines with 27gb and free roaming in the US. Plus another line for my kid who has 1gb included for free.
I was bought off and can’t complain about the deal for me personally, but this consolidation is bad for Canada as a whole.
I am…my son keeps asking for more data, but there’s no way I’m making any changes for him. From (basically) free to (probably) $50 for a marginally better plan, it’s not going to happen until he gets a job. 😛

To be honest, I felt dirty accepting the offer since I’d thought that the merger was a bad idea in general, even though I personally was benefiting.
